News Around Town: The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education may reconsider school reopening at a meeting later today (July 30). The Board is holding is a remote emergency meeting at 2 pm and will also discuss the calendar for middle and early college programs. Currently over 50,000 students are enrolled in the Full Remote Academy, which is about a third of the student population. which is about a third of the student population.
