News Around Town: Two advisory board meetings are coming up this week and next. The Veterans Advisory Committee and the Silver Line Task Force both meet tomorrow, September 2, at 7 pm. via Zoom. The Board of Adjustment meeting has been canceled. Normally we’d all be gearing up for Matthews Alive (and the Beacon’s 2nd Birthday!), but this year the annual celebration was called off due to COVID-19. .
