News About Town: The Monday, January 11 Board of Commissioners meeting agenda is available online.

At 5:30 pm, the Board will hear a presentation by Charlotte Area Transit System staff about the rail trail, a multi-use path that will run relatively parallel along the length of the Silver Line. The regular meeting starts at 7 pm. To watch live, the meetings are available via Zoom. A livestream will also be available via the Town of Matthews YouTube Channel. News Around Town: Matthews Police have seen an increase in the theft of catalytic converters from vehicles in Matthews. Most targeted are Priuses in residential areas and and work trucks in commercial settings. Thefts occur overnight.
