News About Town: Two elections down, one to go. The results are in and Paul Bailey and John Higdon are advancing to the General Election as candidates for mayor. John Higdon received 861 votes, Paul Bailey received 652, and Jason Majewski received 54 votes. The vote count totaled 7.49% of the registered voters in Matthews voting in the mayoral primary.
